According to the Telegraph, British journalists received an e-mail from the Marc Jacobs PR team canceling a press day "due to the theft of the spring/summer 2012 collections during its transfer from Paris." Goodness! Do watch for anyone suspicious-looking wearing shiny gingham, silver cowboy boots, or plastic paillette dresses. But in all seriousness, it's far more likely that the samples were stolen for counterfeiting reasons. Or, you know, just misplaced en route.

Few issues in fashion rile people up as much as diversity. From race to size and shape, the industry is consistently tasked with expanding and defending its narrow view of beauty. Men have clearly not gotten the same consideration as women in this arena. If they had, we might not have to wonder: Where are all the plus-size male models? Over the past two to three years, plus-size female models like Crystal Renn, Marquita Pring, and Robyn Lawley have conquered high-fashion covers, editorials, ad campaigns, and runways. But we’ve all ignored the blatant absence of plus-size men from all that media.

Speaking to British Vogue at a party for her lingerie line, Macpherson had high praise for her fellow supermodel. "I love the way Gisele looks ... She is obviously totally my DNA taste. She's also really natural looking. She's growing her brand; she's staying true to herself; she's versatile; she's also a great mum: she's a cool girl. I like what she represents.

In the accompanying profile to Chloë Moretz's very bright and floral cover shoot, she explains her aesthetic: "[I like mixing] high fashion with high-street fashion. Like, I'll put an Alexander McQueen jacket with a nice Topshop T-shirt. That's more approachable than, 'Here comes Chloë in her runway look.'" Other things that are clearly approachable? Fashion magazine covers.

You may recall Abercrombie's playful but maybe quasi-serious publicity stunt from this summer, when they offered to pay Mike "The Situation" Sorrentini to stop wearing their clothes on Jersey Shore. Seeing as neon sweatpants are the perfect compliment to orange skin, the Situation kept right on wearing them, and MTV defended his choice to do so. Abercrombie, never a brand to slink off without the final word, then came out with a line of T-shirts that played off the Situation's catchphrases (they were printed with sayings like "The Fitchuation" and "GTL ... You Know The Deal"). Now TMZ reports that the Situation has officially filed a lawsuit against the retailer (in Florida, naturally), claiming that Abercrombie infringed on his trademarks with their T-shirts and marketing gimmicks. He wants at least $4 million in damages, because if they're going to make fun of him, they should at least pay him for it.

The world might be temporarily spared Snooki-branded clothing and lingerie. "Page Six" reports that the burnt-orange-skinned purveyor of fragrance and sunglasses has sued SRG Ventures, the company she signed a deal with to make clothes, home items, and lingerie, because the deals weren't as lucrative as her contract said they would be. SRG is planning a countersuit. Snooki’s lawyers allege in court papers that SRG “failed to secure” royalty guarantees of at least $250,000 and a license from a major retailer for another $250,000, as the contract called for. It also says the SRG didn’t bring in “five licenses approved by [Polizzi].” But SRG says it has a “preponderance of evidence” that it did achieve those “performance benchmarks,” and says the gnomish reality star is herself in breach of contract.

At WWD’s Apparel and Retail CEO Summit on Monday, Victoria Beckham recalled, “When I was starting out I remember Marc Jacobs saying, ‘As long as the quality is great, then people can say it’s not their personal taste, but they can’t say that it’s rubbish,’ and that’s very true.

After the earlier release of covers featuring Kate Moss, Pharrell Williams, Chloë Sevigny, and Eva Green, here's a first look at four more of Dazed's special twentieth anniversary issue. Also shot by Rankin, these images are stark and shadowy, and include film director Harmony Korine, indie band The Kills, and actor Gael Garcia Bernal — all also paired with up-and-coming names. (That makes eight covers down, but twelve still to go.)
